Vijay Acharya has over four decades of experience in consumer affairs, corporate and commercial matters. He advises large number of domestic and international clients not only on consumer issues but also on enhancing the consumer orientation in the organization.
Mr. Acharya is founder president of Bharat Jyoti, a NGO for protection of Consumer rights, which has been appointed by Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) and Petroleum & Natural Gas Regulatory Board as Consumer Advocacy Group (CAG) in the state of Uttar Pradesh to safeguard the interest of the consumers.
He is publisher of “Upbhokta Front” a leading weekly newspaper upholding the rights of consumers and it plays a very vital role in spreading the awakening among the consumers.
